Why Benchmark the Job?

The TriCoreTM assessment system combines 3 separate
assessment tools with a powerful position benchmarking system that
is designed to help organizations hire more effectively, develop
their existing people and create a performance driven culture. The
TriCoreTM Assessment is the most comprehensive, in-depth,
real-world, easy-to-use assessment and development tool ever
developed.
As a hiring tool, the TriCoreTM System gets behind each
candidate’s mask and identifies his or her true capacities to
perform. This is far more than simply identifying behavior.
Although important, behavior is only part of a truly complete
profile – you must measure more and measure it accurately.
That’s exactly what the TriCoreTM System does and why over 80% of
our clients will not hire anyone without first using our system.
Here’s how the TriCore™ Job Plus works:
1. First, a group of survey participants are selected (up to 6
people). This is what we call the stakeholder group. Typically this
group of participants is comprised of top performers in the job
being benchmarked, people who manage the position and a member of
the executive management team. These are the people who have
something to gain if the job is successfully executed.
2. The stakeholder group goes through a 1 hour briefing process with
a Transcende Consultant. This exercise is designed to get everyone
"on the same page" with regard to the position
requirements..
3. Each member of the stakeholder group then scores an individual
3-part survey called the TriCoreTM Benchmark). The survey
takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and participants
simultaneously complete the survey immediately following the
briefing session.
4. Transcende Professional then creates an integrated benchmark for
that specific position that can be used for hiring, development and
succession planning. All future external and internal applicants for
this benchmarked position can then be compared via psychometric
data, to measure fit, capacity and job alignment.
The TriCoreTM System integrates three unique,
independently validated, assessment tools into a complete
benchmarking system, yielding a 22 page, job-to-applicant report. A
side-by-side, one-page summary highlights the top 7 Attributes that
the position requires, the top 3 Values that the position rewards
and the top 3 Behaviors that are necessary for success in the
position.
This generates the "whole position" benchmark.

Once the benchmark is established job candidates as well as
current employees in the position are assessed using TriCoreTM.
Then, their personal assessment results are compared to the position
benchmark.
The TriCoreTM System answers the ‘How’, ‘Why’ and
‘Can they perform’ questions and then folds the data together
via 280,000 calculations to deliver whether they will succeed at
this time…in your organization…at this job. It uses the
"whole position" and "whole person" approach and
integrates the two:
