principlebased/careerevolution.com is an online, virtual coaching site that provides its members tests and reports to help them determine how they can become more successful in their careers. We enter into a voluntary relationship with you and collect personal information from you to help establish your unique identity on our online system for the purpose of retrieving test results, reports, and information you have entered.
The information in this Statement only applies to Principle Based Enterprises and the “Site” principlebased/careerevolution.com. This Statement does not apply to any affiliated entities of Principle Based Enterprises or to third parties, which may have their own privacy policies.
What is Personal Information?
We collect only the Personal Information you voluntarily provide to us or that is generated by taking a test at our Site. When you become a member of the Site, we create a unique user profile for you that will store all the information we have about you, including information that you enter for later retrieval and for reports. "Personal Information" includes your email address and the password you create for your account. It also includes personal test results, and information that you enter on the site in the course of a virtual coaching session. If you order a product or service from principlebased/careerevolution.com it may include your name, shipping and/or mailing address, telephone number, email address, credit or debit card account number as required by third parties to complete the order. We do not consider information or opinions that you share in a public forum to be Personal Information, and if you share information that would otherwise be considered Personal Information with other members, we cannot take responsibility for its protection. We will collect email addresses of others that you voluntarily give us and, when you request or authorize it, we will send these individuals any information you wish to share to help others to know you better or to facilitate your virtual coaching process.
We use your Personal Information to facilitate your use of the Site and to support our virtual coaching process, including:
to generate personalized reports based on test results;
to send you a forgotten password by email;
to uniquely identify you for purposes of recalling your report and virtual coaching;
to contact you by email with reminders about the coaching process;
to send you notifications during the virtual coaching process;
to allow us to share information about you that you request we share with others;
to send you updated information on our service by email to contact you about the status of your order;
to improve our service.
What we do and do not share
We may share results gathered from your test aggregated with many others who have taken the test. We will never reveal your individual test results to third parties without your explicit permission. Other personal information will only be used for the purpose of enhancing your experience with our service.
We do not share your email address, telephone number or credit card information for use by other companies, except as required by a third party payment service to complete an order. We do not store on our Site information required by third parties to complete an order that we otherwise do not require to deliver our services to you. For example, a third party credit card processing company will require your credit card number and address. We do not require that information to provide our service and will not store it on our Site. The third party may store it in order to enable monthly billing of a subscription service.
You Are in Control
We give you choices and control over the collection and use of your Personal Information. You can update Personal Information or remove your email address from our email marketing list. You do not have the choice to prevent us from aggregating your test or demographic information with others. By becoming a member of the Site and taking the test, your test information will become anonymously part of our statistics based and can not be later removed.
You have the opportunity to choose to receive email promotions such as our newsletter and / or special offers that can be canceled at any time. If you choose not to sign up for this promotional email service, we will send you only emails that relates to a specific purchase or if it is necessary to respond to your email inquiries.
Tracking Technology
Career Evolution, our PBeCoachingTM web services provider, uses technology such as GIFs and Cookies to collect anonymous, non-personal information about how our site is used. We use this information to improve our site and on occasion we may share this information with our affiliates or other third party companies to show the amount of interest in our site for advertising purposes and to help us plan for technical improvements. This information will not identify you or any other user of our Site as an individual. We may use clear GIFs in our HTML - based emails to let us know which emails the recipients have opened. We use Cookies to understand how our site visitors' click to our site and what pages they view during their visit. Cookies allow us to personalize your site experience. Your browser must be set to accept Cookies before you can use the service at the Site. We also track your progress through the site during the process of virtual coaching so we can know which sections of your program you have completed.
Our Site has implemented a variety of encryption and security technologies and procedures to protect information stored in our computer systems from unauthorized access. We also maintain procedural safeguards that restrict your Personal Information to employees (or people working on our behalf and under confidentiality agreements) who need to know your Personal Information in order to provide services that you request.
