Analytics to earns key Client nomination as one of 7 finalists
in International Stevie Awards

enhancement and development firm was honored when a major client
was nominated for the prestigious International Stevie® Award
for Excellence and Innovation in CRM Adoption. The Stevie
Awards, hailed as "the business world's own Oscars," are jointly
presented by Selling Power magazine, the leading sales
management publication with 145,000 subscribers.
The
journey to the Stevie's began last March when the Transcende
team, lead by Salesforce.com veteran Art Hobba, was brought in
to help a major asset management firm to move from an MS Outlook
based contact management system to Salesforce.com. After working
closely with Divisional Presidents and uniting their 3 business
units under one CRM platform for the first time, User adoption
was still lacking. "We had committed to a high level of adoption
by the Users," said Hobba, "not just implementation"
Hobba, a 30 year sales leader and performance coach turned to
Cloud9 Analytics, the leading provider of on-demand business
intelligence (BI) applications. Their engineering team helped
bring Transcende's client into a higher level of User and
Manager adoption. “We tried carrots, sticks, you name it, but
adoption was still lacking", said Hobba. Cloud9 was the right

The tool, which integrates with Salesforce.com, shows
sales managers “what’s changed” in their opportunities.
Beginning 2009 Transcende has also implemented Cloud9 based
Closed Sales Ratio's, activity monitoring (tied to performance
plans) and multi-product sales versus goals reports.

implementation has been nominated for a Stevie (they won last
